In Production: PCE Opens the Only Flax Straw Dual-Processing Facility in the World
PCE’s business model is buying flax straw from prairie farmers and processing the straw into flax fibre and flax shive pellets for a variety of value-added, high-margin products for the multi-billion dollar bioeconomy. Our mission is to stop the burning of un-utilized flax straw. We have opened the only flax straw multi-processing facility for fibre and shive in the world in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada. We have all the straw we need sourced, the equipment has been commissioned, customer orders are rolling in, and we are in production.
PCE’s 30,000 sq. ft. facility is in operation in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada.
